He is a beautiful dark chocolate dog with loads of drive and desire to please. Blue passed 4 out of 4 tests to earned is HR title at 17 months. He earned his MH title at 29 months and  HRC Finished tests at 34 months of age. He earned his first Grand Hunting Retrieve Champion pass at 3 yrs and 4 months of age.

Blue's trainer is Stephen Durrence of Taylor Farm Kennels. Our boy is very talented and easy to train. Aside from competing for titles, Blue has also been a fantastic hunting companion, retrieving pheasant, dove and quail.

Smokie is owned by our daughter, Mandi Purcell. He is a beautiful muscular built dog
with loads of drive. Most of his training has been done by Mandi under the watchful
eye of professional trainer, Stephen Durrence. He earned his Finished title, Sept 2010
with Mandi as his handler. He made her look so good. Two week later, he went on
to compete in the Fall Grand Hunt Test in Georgia where he completed the 2nd Series
with Mandi as his handler. This was her first time handling at this level and even though
