Yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. That is a gold tooth in
that dog's month. His owner told us that when Erk was a pup, he took a
tumble
from his truck and as a result broke one of his canines. Ed called
on a good friend who is a dentist to cap on his pup's broken tooth. Well
his friend
had a surprise waiting for Ed and Erk. That surprise was a gold tooth
with a big black G! What a great friend and a very special dog.
Big Creeks Full Throttle Girl.... Call name "AVERY" She slept darn near the whole
11 hour ride home! She is adjusting well so far and my family and myself are loving her
company. She has slept in her kennel every night since I got her home and to my surprise,
she barely cries. She does sleep A LOT! We got home Thursday morning and I took her
to the vet to get her check up Friday morning. The vet said she is an excellently breed pup.
I will keep ya'll posted on the progress and send more pictures in the near future. Thank
ya'll for having us and giving me the opportunity to enjoy the company of a GREAT
companion. -Shane

Big Creek's Cannonball Run RN AX AXJ (Tremblin Earth's Voodoo Chile MH X

Just wanted to say hi and let you know that Cannon has earned his
Excellent level (both of them) Jumpers and Standard (AX and AXJ) Agility
titles! He is an
absolute doll. Driven, sweet, cuddly, hardworking, athletic, and calm indoors. We jog together 2-3 times per week in a local state park. He LOVES it.
He is still attending weekly agility classes and competing about twice per month in agility. He's only 3, and for a sporting breed, he is doing phenomenal in the
agility ring and is considered to be a young dog competing at the highest level. He will hit his agility prime during age 5 to 7 and I expect him to become an even
faster dog and to qualify (and place in the ribbons) consistently. More importantly, you can tell he LOVES to play this game. We made a small error every run -
you can tell in one run he is distracted by "horse
poop smells." (We are in an indoor horse arena). But it's all coming
together :-) I am hoping to go to AKC
agility nationals with him in March 2011 (he will only be 4!) if we can
qualify for it in 2010 - we'll see!!! Cannon is a big dog so I need to
be absolutely perfect
when I am directing him where to go.

Rocky Comfort Holly Hunter (NFC FC AFC Five Star General Patton X HRCH Blackwater Harlie Davidson 150) and Judith
went to North Carolina for dock dogs and she kicked butt. Holly's best event is Extreme Vertical. Her previous best was 5'8" and
she jumped 6' placing first. She is good in Speed Retrieve as soon as she jumps and hits the water, those legs get it done. She
placed second. Big Air we are still training. Her previous best was 16' and she jumped 16'6" in NC. She did not make the finals
in Big Air. We call her the Rock Star and she keeps going like the Eveready Bunny. Holly and Judith are members of a local
club called Dixie Dock Dogs. Holly qualified for Nationals this year but unable to go. Next year for sure.
Hey David and Teresa - Hope ya'll are doing well. Can't believe Scooby
(FC Low Country Drake X HRCH Blackwater Harlie Davidson)
is almost a year old!!! Thought you all would enjoy seeing
that he is very happy, very much loved, and very much spoiled. He has
done a lot
to fill the void left by the loss of our Scooby Do last year.
He is the funniest dog, kid of goofy sometimes, and full of love!!
And...he, along
with our other dogs, love to ride in my Mini Cooper
(of course, with the top up) When my husband isn't here with his
suburban, we have no
choice! We have some property near our
home on Lake Burton and they love to go there to chase tennis balls,
swim in the creeks and run
after critters!!
Update on Big Creek's Cannonball Run (MH Tremblin Earth's Voodoo Chile) from Harlie's 2006 litter. Just wanted to say hi and let you know that

Way to go Cannon and Jasey! At a year and ˝ of age, Cannon earned his first qualifying run in Agility (novice level) and placed second. He also earned his first leg in Obedience (novice level) and placed second out of 14 dogs. 11/07
