HR Big Creek Gotta Try Cajun Roux (click on name for pedigree)

Weight: 67 lbs.
Born: July 23, 2006
EIC: Clear
OFA: Excellent
CERF: Normal
CNM: Clear
Call Name: Indy
HRC points: 50
Sire: UH GRHRCH Dakota's Cajun Roux MH
Dam: HRCH CCR's Gotta Try It MH

Indy has spent most of her youth as a constant companion to our youngest son, Zane. She also spent most of the hunting seasons as an excellent partner for David. She is such a great dog, we decided it was only right to send her to a trainer to further her education. Then after only being with professional trainer, Stephen Durrence, for 3 months, she went 3 for 3 to earn her HR.  Indy is a beautiful dark chocolate that is pure energy and drive. Like her father, GRHRCH UH Dakota's Cajun Roux MH, she runs hard in the field and lives to retrieve.  Indy is a marking machine and is running straight lines to 200 yard blinds.

Indy's work attitude makes it so much fun to watch her retrieve. When Indy is not hunting, she makes a wonderful house dog. Her favorite spot to sleep is with her youngest hunting buddy, our son Zane.

OFA Hips: Excellent
OFA Elbows: Normal
CERF: Normal
CNM: Clear by parents
Call Name: Jorja

Dam: HRCH Blackwater Harlie Davidson F150 (CNM Whitelist)

Jorja earned her SHR at 18 months, HR at 20 months and her HRCH title at 22 months of age. Jorja is a mix of her mother and father. She's got the intelligence and good looks of her sire and the easy disposition of her dam. Jorja needs very few corrections because when teaching her a new concept, she usually gets it the first time. Jorja is compliant without being too soft. She comes to life in the field and loves to retrieve a bird.

Jorja is a super dog in the house and is excellent around children and other dogs.

She quietly waits in the hunting blind, but comes to life in the field when sent.  This past season, she retrieved over 200 ducks. She is steady in the blind and an excellent marker. She is very easy to handle and extremely agile. When she is not hunting, she becomes the family companion and makes an excellent house dog. We love having her as a part of our family. She is very social with people and other dogs.

After a 3 year break, Harlie has started running UKC Hunt Tests with Trainer/Handler, Stephen Durrence. Harlie got off to a slow start as she failed the first water portion of a Finished test, but she has come back strong as she has passed the next 12 out of 12 Finished tests with ease and style. Thanks to Stephen, Harlie keeps making us proud. Every time we watch her run, we can't help but think how blessed we are to have such a fine girl!
